It is terrifying and pretty much upsetting that a vacant house in our neighbourhood is 'suspected' to be intruded by steel thieves at broad daylight without anyone bother to stop and ask was the house under renovation or purely being 'robbed' !
I drove passed the vacant house this morning, few days after some suspected 'illegals' were spotted removing windows panels and grills, the house stood quietly, does not seem to be undergoing any form of renovation.
I can't help but to wonder what will happen if we are away for a few days or even a day? Our neighbour might even think our house was merely under 'renovation' or maybe 'moving out' when the truth is, the house could be broken in and being 'moved away'. Be sensible, we are pretty aware we are not that close to our neighbour due to our busy lifestyle, we could be just saying 'hello' and 'see you' to our neighbours, that's it! Not close enough or free enough to help each other to watch our 'back @ house' at times right?
Already informed our RT secretary, Mr. Tee (Jimmy) about this 'suspected' break-in and he has lodged a police report, still under investigation to clarify this matter.

Our RT committee is suggesting a form of 'Suka Rela' patrol aka volunteer patrolling by the residents themselves but frankly, when will this start? Or at least will alot of residents really come forward to offer their hands?
As much as I hope that our RT plans will succeed but still, will be better if we start thinking ahead and have some back-up plans right?
